JOB INFORMATION REQUEST: Police Volunteer

The Riverside Police Department volunteer program was created in 1994. At that time there were six volunteers who worked in our Records Division. The department now has over 70 volunteers who assist us in a wide variety of assignments. It is our goal to match the volunteer's skills and interests to the department's needs. The Riverside Police Department is committed to doing its part to ensure all citizens have a satisfying volunteer experience.

Qualifications

Volunteers must live or work in the city
18 years of age or older
Good moral character
No felony convictions
